Elvish Yadav makes RACIST comment on Karan Veer Mehra & Chum Darang’s closeness; says, “Itna taste kiska kharab…”

Karanveer Mehra and Chum Darang became everyone’s favourite ever since their cute banter in Bigg Boss 18 house grabbed attention. While the actor is currently giving interviews and sharing hiss journey, Chum is enjoying with family in Pasighat. After Bigg Boss 18 finale, Elvish Yadav called Rajat Dalal on his show where the latter made derogatory remarks about other contestants including Chum. In a viral video, the two are seen passing racist comment on Gangubai Kathiawadi actress.

Elvish Yadav passes racist comment on Chum Darang

In a now-deleted part, Rajat is seen making comment on Chum’s ethnicity and taking out vulgar meaning of her name. Elvish explained that he couldn’t understand the reason behind Karan Veer Mehra’s fondness towards her. To this Rajat remarked, “Karanveer ko pakka COVID tha kyunki Chum kisko pasand aati hai bhai, itna taste kiska kharab hota hai! Aur Chum ke toh naam mein hi ashleelta hai… Naam Chum aur kaam Gangubai Kathiawadi mein kiya hai,” he said.

At the same time, he passed a derogatory comment against Chum Darang’s name. He particularly stressed the word and claimed that her name sounded vulgar, which didn’t go well with the fans. Although the part was later deleted from his channel, it went viral, and netizens expressed anger about it.

Earlier in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Chum had shared how people made fun of her ethnicity and it hurted her. She said, “There are some words that people used to say like to demean us because we look different. We might come across like we are not from this country. But we are and it’s their fault not knowing about their country. When the coronavirus came in 2020… I’ll say it – before it was momo and chow-chow, when Corona came (we were called) Corona, so it was hurtful. I would not do something like that to some other person”
